Artist’s Statement

For me, the purpose of art is to capture a universal emotion.  Standing before art we intimately connect with the artist and share a timeless feeling that is very personal and very human.  Art is about communicating.

I hope you enjoy the art that I make.  Paintings and sculptures start with a seed of an idea and grow into what they are during the process of creativity.  Poems come to me in bed or while driving usually.

My two-dimensional work is available to purchase as framed originals, offset lithographic limited prints or posters, or as giclee prints.   Sculptures are available in concrete castings or bronze castings.
